About Silver Rain Silver

Silver Rain Silver is an independent Glasgow jewellery brand creating story-led sterling silver pieces inspired by animals, nature, science and the wonderfully unusual. Our designs are thoughtful, detailed and made for people who like their jewellery to say something about who they are.

The Role:

We are looking for a commercially minded Social Media & PR Executive to help grow our brand, with TikTok as an important new focus. You will turn brand and product priorities into a clear content plan, manage day-to-day publishing and community engagement, and build genuine relationships with creators, journalists and relevant partners.

This role suits someone who combines creative instinct with strong organisation and understands that good social media should build both community and sales. You will work closely with our founder and Content Creator, providing briefs and direction while keeping the brand voice warm, curious and recognisably Silver Rain Silver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage a practical content calendar across TikTok and Instagram, with support for other relevant channels when needed.
  • Develop channel-specific ideas, campaign themes, hooks, captions and briefs that reflect our brand and products.
  • Publish and schedule content consistently, maintaining a clear and cohesive brand voice.
  • Work closely with Content Creators to brief, review and improve short-form video and photography.
  • Monitor comments, messages, trends and customer conversations, and identify useful content opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with creators, micro-influencers, journalists, gift guides and relevant publications.
  • Write concise press pitches, product stories, founder angles and supporting PR materials.
  • Coordinate product gifting and collaborations, tracking outreach, responses, content and results.
  • Review performance using clear metrics such as reach, watch time, engagement, traffic, sales and earned coverage.
  • Test new ideas, report what is working and turn insights into practical next steps.

What we are looking for:

  • At least one year of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, PR or a closely related role.
  • A strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, including short-form storytelling, hooks, trends and community behaviour.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to adapt tone without losing the brand's personality.
  • Confidence managing several campaigns, deadlines and external contacts at once.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to connect creative work with measurable business goals.
  • Good judgement, initiative and a genuine interest in jewellery, design, animals, nature or unusual stories.
  • Join us if you’re passionate about storytelling, thrive on building brand awareness through innovative digital strategies, and want to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to making an impact!

Desirable

  • Experience with an ecommerce, jewellery, fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand.
  • Existing media or creator relationships.
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva or social scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Basic photography or video editing skills.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Flexitime
  • Sick pay
