Location: Loughton, Essex
Salary: Starting from £27,500 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (1 in 6 weekends on a rolling rota)

Terry Tew Sound & Light is one of the UK’s leading rental houses for TV, film, theatre, and live events. We supply and support some of the biggest names in the industry, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Stock Co-ordinator.

The Role
As a Stock Co-ordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing our hire and sales inventory. From processing incoming stock to maintaining consumable levels and coordinating outgoing equipment, you’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming stock for both sales and hire – including barcoding, PAT testing, labelling, serialising, and updating databases.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels for consumables and place orders as needed.
  • Work closely with the Sales Co-ordinator to ensure orders are delivered on time, in full working order, and correctly invoiced.
  • Manage the sale of ex-hire equipment through online outlets such as eBay and industry-specific platforms – including photography, listings, and database updates.
  • Handle packaging and shipping of equipment, liaising with courier companies and arranging deliveries.
  • Support other departments when required, maintaining good communication across the team.
  • Carry out (or arrange) PAT testing of electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as needed to support business operations.

About You:

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills in the audio-visual industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and cloud-based software.
  • Previous experience in stock management or warehouse coordination is required. (Preferbably 2 years exeperience)
  • A positive team player who can also work effectively on their own initiative.
