Academy Assistant – Toni & Guy Flagship Academy


Are you passionate about starting a career in hairdressing? This is an exciting opportunity to join the prestigious TONI&GUY Flagship Academy in Central London, the hub of the latest trends, techniques, and innovations in hair fashion.

As an Academy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Artistic Team and ensuring the Academy operates smoothly each day. This position offers invaluable exposure to industry-leading educators, creative artists, and fashion events, making it an ideal first step for anyone aspiring to become a professional hairdresser. This is all alongside training for your NVQ in Hairdressing; where you will train 1-day per week towards this national qualification.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Artistic Team with the day-to-day running of the Academy.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional learning environment.
  • Prepare training rooms for educational sessions and workshops.
  • Ensure all towels, gowns, electrical appliances, tools, and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
  • Set up workstations, chairs, and teaching areas according to the daily schedule.
  • Reset and prepare rooms between morning and afternoon sessions.
  • Support the smooth delivery of Academy education programmes.
  • Assist with general housekeeping and operational tasks as required.

Training and Development

You will work under the supervision of the Academy Manager, who will provide guidance, support, and ongoing development to help you succeed in the role.
