DESCRIPTION
Are you interested in shaping the future of movies and television? Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?
Prime Video is one of the world's leading digital video services, and we're just getting started changing the way millions of people around the world enjoy content. Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. On Prime Video, customers can customise their viewing experience and find their favourite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports, including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies Fallout, Reacher, The Boys, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and The Summer I Turned Pretty; UK produced Originals such as Clarkson's Farm, 007’s Road to a Million, Last One Laughing UK, Would You Rather: Decide to Survive, and Kaleb Down Under; Prime member exclusive access to coverage of live sports including UEFA Champions League and NBA, and acclaimed sports documentaries including the Amazon Original All or Nothing franchise, including All or Nothing: Arsenal.
Amazon MGM Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.
The Amazon MGM Studios UK International Originals Production & Post team seeks a dedicated, self-driven Production Coordinator with strong communication skills to support the team and Head of Production & Post. This is a corporate-based role with a primary focus on administration and operational coordination rather than on-set production. You will be the operational backbone of our productions, managing the flow of information, tracking deliverables, and ensuring each project runs smoothly from initial setup through production to final wrap across our unscripted and movies slate.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is passionate about bringing world-class content to life for Prime Video audiences around the globe.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, respond promptly to time-sensitive situations, and support the team in addressing challenges that arise during production. High attention to detail, great judgement, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across regional teams is critical. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is essential, as well as professionalism when interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
This position will report to the Head of Production & Post Production, International Originals UK & EUX, and support a team of Production Executives and Production Managers.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
The primary focus of this role is to be the conduit of information between internal departments, the production executives, post executives, creative executives and third-party production partners. Working across unscripted shows, scripted (EUX) and movies, you will support a diverse portfolio of content providing day-to-day administrative and operational support, helping organise and track projects from setup through production to final deliverables. You will take initiative to move tasks forward and have the ability to think strategically about how to best support the team and wider department.
