Content Creator / Social Media Manager
Location: Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester
Full Time
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 Basic + Performance Bonus & Commission
Create Content That Actually Turns Heads
At Ox Resin, we don’t sell ordinary products.
One day you’ll be filming a luxury metallic epoxy floor that looks like molten marble. The next you’ll be capturing a stunning resin bound driveway transformation or creating content around high-end Venetian plaster and microcement feature walls.
We’re looking for a talented Content Creator who can bring our work to life across social media and help showcase why Ox Resin has become one of the UK’s leading training providers and material suppliers.
This isn’t a desk job creating generic graphics.
You’ll be on-site filming real projects, interviewing trainees, creating viral social content, documenting transformations, and producing content that inspires homeowners, installers, and tradespeople across the UK.
About Ox Resin
Ox Resin operates one of Europe’s largest specialist training facilities, delivering professional training in:
- Resin Bound Driveways
- Metallic Epoxy Flooring
- Venetian Plaster
- Microcement
- Decorative Wall Finishes
Every week we train installers from across the UK while also supplying materials to contractors nationwide.
Our projects create some truly incredible visual transformations, giving you endless opportunities to create engaging content.
The Role
You will be responsible for growing and managing the social media presence across all Ox Resin brands and departments.
This includes:
- Filming and photographing training courses
- Capturing customer projects and transformations
- Producing reels, shorts and TikTok-style content
- Managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts
- Creating engaging before-and-after content
- Editing videos for social media and advertising campaigns
- Planning and scheduling content
- Working alongside our marketing team to generate leads and enquiries
- Creating educational, entertaining and promotional content
- Interviewing trainees, customers and installers
- Covering industry events, demonstrations and product launches
- Monitoring content performance and helping shape future content strategy
What You’ll Be Creating
Examples of content include:
- Luxury metallic epoxy floors
- Resin driveway transformations
- Venetian plaster feature walls
- Microcement installations
- Time-lapse project videos
- Training course highlights
- Customer success stories
- Product demonstrations
- Independent product testing and experiments
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Educational how-to videos
- Promotional advertising content
Skills & Experience
We’re more interested in talent, creativity and results than qualifications.
You should have:
- Experience filming and editing short-form video content
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Excellent understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Confidence using video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut or similar
- Ability to identify engaging content opportunities
- Good copywriting skills
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Drone photography and videography
- Paid social advertising
- Graphic design
- Adobe Creative Suite
- WordPress
- SEO
What Success Looks Like
Within 12 months you’ll have helped grow our social channels, increased engagement, generated leads for our training courses and products, and built a content library showcasing some of the most impressive decorative surface installations in the UK.
You’ll become a key part of the team responsible for how thousands of people see and interact with the Ox Resin brand every month.
Salary, Bonus & Progression
Basic salary is £25,000 - £40,000, depending on experience, skills and proven ability.
In addition to your basic salary, you’ll have the opportunity to earn performance-related bonuses and commission based on the additional revenue generated through your content and marketing activities.
We don’t just want someone who can create beautiful content—we want someone who can create content that generates enquiries, drives sales and contributes directly to the growth of the business.
As Ox Resin continues to expand throughout the UK and internationally, there will be significant opportunities for career progression and increased earning potential.
Why Join Ox Resin?
- Work with visually stunning projects every day
- Be part of a fast-growing company
- Modern training facility and studio environment
- Opportunity to travel to projects across the UK
- Create content that genuinely stands out from the crowd
- Ongoing training and development
- Career progression opportunities
- Company events and team activities
- Uncapped earning potential linked to business growth
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide examples of content they have personally filmed and edited.
Applications submitted without examples of previous work, social media pages, portfolio, showreel, or video content will not be considered.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to create content that captures attention and generates engagement.
If you’re passionate about content creation and want to build a portfolio filled with incredible transformations while being rewarded for the results you generate, we’d love to hear from you.
