Full job description

Salary: £23,660.00 per annum

Annual studio performance earnings of up to an additional 2.5% of base salary a year, reviewed and paid in termly installments. Additional pay based on teaching performance, student retention and workshop sales.

Contract: Part Time (26 hours per week)

What You'll Do

Teaching & Student Development

  • Deliver engaging, skill-based art lessons for children in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

  • Support students' artistic development, monitor their progress and build confidence and creativity.

  • Deliver engaging holiday workshops during school holidays.

Studio Support & Community

  • Maintain an impeccably organised, safe studio space.

  • Drive parent relationships through proactive communication, regular progress updates, and swift inquiry resolution.

  • Lead local community outreach and promotional events to raise studio awareness, drive enrolments, and build neighborhood partnerships.

What support you’d have

Our central team includes 15 individuals who provide support with bookings, customer service, HR and finance to every studio. This enables each person to focus on their specialism: teaching, customer interactions, studio operations and leadership.

Working Hours

The 26-hour week is structured to give you dedicated time for teaching, lesson preparation, administration, studio management and promotion.

Term Time

Sunday 08:30 - 16:30

Monday 13:15 - 21:15

Wednesday 10:00 - 20:00

The total of 26 hours per week is fixed, but the specific days and times can be discussed and adjusted during the recruitment process to suit the needs of the studio. The 10-hour Wednesday shift may also be split into two 5-hour shifts, where appropriate.

School Holidays (14 weeks per year)

The same contracted hours are worked Monday to Friday between 9:00am–5:00pm. Daily schedules vary depending on the needs of the studio.
