Marketing Executive

Based in newly refurbished offices in Abingdon, we are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our well-established team. We have experienced considerable growth over the last few years and are now looking for a Marketing Executive to join us on this exciting journey and manage all marketing activities across Carter Manufacturing and UNASIS.

There is ample parking on-site and the opportunity to join in the company bonus scheme, based on monthly team sales targets.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for managing our social media channels, increasing engagement with our target audience and responsibility for improving and maintaining our website. You will work closely with our sales and business development team to develop and implement marketing strategies promoting our business and conduct market research/analysis to enhance our business development activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to drive the marketing strategy and take full responsibility for all marketing activities. Full support and direction will be given by the leadership team to ensure continued success and development of the role.

Key responsibilities:

As a specialist in your role, you will be responsible for:

  • Website improvement and development including ecommerce addition to our current Carter site conjunction with our existing outsourced web development supplier.
  • Social media on all existing platforms, to improve engagement, increase followers, develop new posts with a target of 2 – 3 posts per week (Carter UNASIS) and videos.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust as needed
  • Manage and maintain relationships with outsourced photography and video agencies.
  • Enhance interaction with existing trading platforms and associations we work with
  • Compiling and sending monthly email newsletter internally and externally
  • Developing a relevant monthly news story in conjunction with our outsourced editorial writing partner.
  • Arrange exhibitions and trade shows including negotiating premium stand locations, setting up of stand, graphics and display items, arranging personnel and transport.
  • Monthly attendance to industry specific networking events in collaboration with the sales and business development team
  • Telephone marketing to key target customers, defining new prospects to target
  • Daily engagement follow up on quotes sent out during the day by the sales team

Experience/qualifications required:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree or equivalent in a Marketing
  • Previous experience in creating and delivering marketing strategies - desirable
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in phot and video editing.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve shared targets
  • A results driven mind set
