ABOUT YOU

You don’t necessarily need years of marketing experience. We’re much more interested in your creativity, attitude, organisation and potential. This is a role for someone who can come up with great ideas and then turn those ideas into a clear plan and make sure they actually happen. You’ll be managing multiple campaigns, social media activity, events, promotions and content at the same time, so excellent organisation and planning skills are essential.

We’re looking for someone who is:

▪ Highly organised - you’re comfortable managing several projects at once and keeping track of deadlines, campaigns and priorities.

▪ A strong planner - you can think ahead and build a structured marketing plan rather than simply reacting to what needs doing today.

▪ Creative - you’re constantly coming up with new ideas and different ways to engage customers.

▪ Social media savvy - you understand what makes people stop scrolling.

▪ Commercial - you understand that likes are great, but bookings and revenue are the goal.

▪ Proactive - you don’t always need to be told what to do, you spot opportunities, plan how to use them and make them happen.

▪ Reliable and methodical - you follow through on projects and make sure important details don’t get missed.

▪ A great communicator - you can clearly communicate plans, deadlines and ideas to the wider team.

Confident - you’re happy getting involved, talking to people and trying new things.

▪ Passionate about food and hospitality - you understand what makes a great restaurant experience.

▪ A team player - you’re happy working with everyone from the kitchen and front of house teams to senior management.

PLANNING IS A BIG PART OF THIS ROLE

We’re looking for someone who can think months ahead. You’ll be responsible for helping build and manage a 12 month marketing calendar, planning activity around seasonal menus, key dates, events, promotions and quieter trading periods. You’ll need to be able to look at the year ahead, identify opportunities, decide what needs to happen and create a plan that ensures everything is ready on time.

That means being comfortable with things like:

▪ Building and managing a marketing calendar.

▪ Planning campaigns several weeks or months in advance.

▪ Working backwards from key dates and deadlines. ▪ Coordinating content, photography, promotions and events.

▪ Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

▪ Scheduling social media and marketing activity.

▪ Keeping track of what has been completed and what still needs doing.

▪ Communicating plans and deadlines with the wider team.

We’re looking for someone who can combine creativity with structure. You might have brilliant ideas but the real skill is being able to organise, plan and execute them.

EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE GREAT

You don’t need everything on this list, but experience with any of the following would be a bonus: ▪ Social media management ▪ TikTok / Instagram Reels ▪ Content creation ▪ Photography or videography ▪ Restaurant, hospitality, leisure or lifestyle marketing ▪ Email marketing ▪ Website management ▪ Events or PR ▪ Canva, Adobe or similar ▪ Google Business Profile ▪ Meta Business Suite / Meta advertising ▪ Paid social media ▪ CRM or customer loyalty programmes Don’t tick every box? Don’t worry. If you’ve got the creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, we’d still like to hear from you.

WHAT WE OFFER

This isn’t just a role where you’ll be asked to schedule a few Facebook posts. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the growth of the restaurant and develop your marketing career at the same time.

You’ll get:

▪ A genuinely hands-on marketing role.

▪ The opportunity to develop and influence our restaurant’s brand.

▪ Plenty of freedom to bring your own ideas to the table.

▪ Experience across social media, digital marketing, events, PR, content and CRM

▪ Support and training to help you develop your skills.

▪ Opportunities for career progression.

▪ Staff discounts and benefits.

▪ Access to life coach/mentoring scheme

▪ Company pension

▪ 28 days holiday each year

This is hospitality marketing

Restaurant marketing isn’t just about making something look good on Instagram. It’s about creating desire. It’s about making someone see a dish and think “I want that.” It’s about making someone discover an event and think “Let’s book it.” And ultimately, it’s about turning great ideas into covers, bookings, loyal customers and revenue. If you’re creative, commercially minded, love social media and want a role where you can actually make a difference, we’d love to meet you.

BRING YOUR IDEAS. WE’LL GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THEM HAPPEN
