Full job description

.Junior Product Designer & Creative Executive

| Full Time | Maidstone, Kent

Design products. Build brands. See your ideas on the shelves of the UK’s biggest retailers.

This isn’t just another junior design job.

We’re looking for a creative, ambitious graduate who wants to kick-start their career in one of the world’s most exciting industries – toys.

Every day is different. One morning you could be designing packaging for a brand-new collectible range. By the afternoon you might be creating social media content, helping develop a new plush toy, producing artwork for a trade show, or preparing products for retailers including WHSmith, Boots, Superdrug and Amazon.

If you love design, enjoy solving creative problems and want to see products you’ve helped create in stores across the UK and Europe, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with our product development team, you’ll support every stage of the creative process, including:

  • Designing packaging, product graphics and marketing materials
  • Creating product mock-ups and presentation visuals
  • Developing concepts for new toy ranges and brands
  • Producing print-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Creating social media, website and Amazon content
  • Preparing retailer presentations and sales materials
  • Organising photography, digital assets and artwork libraries
  • Supporting product development from concept through to production
  • Keeping up to date with the latest toy, design and consumer trends

No two days are the same, making this the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop across multiple creative disciplines.

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Product Design or a related creative subject
  • Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Passion for great design and consumer products

Bonus points if you have…

  • Experience with packaging design
  • Knowledge of 3D software such as Blender, Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
  • Photography or video editing skills
  • Experience with InDesign or After Effects
  • An interest in toys, games, pop culture or collectible products

What you’ll get

  • A genuine opportunity to build your career in the toy industry
  • Hands-on experience creating products sold by major UK retailers
  • Exposure to every aspect of product development and brand creation
  • Ongoing mentoring and professional development
  • A creative, friendly and fast-paced working environment where your ideas matter
  • Competitive graduate salary based on experience
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free on-site parking

Location

Based in our Maidstone office, this is a full-time office-based role. Following a successful probation period, hybrid working may be considered.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Free parking
