Job Overview

Full-time: Primarily on-site

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience + performance-related bonus

We are building a new wedding, events and hospitality destination in Warwick on a three acre scenic estate. We want to build a distinctive wedding and events brand: memorable experiences, exceptional service, creative events and a property people genuinely want to talk about.

We’re now looking for an exceptional Founder’s Associate – Growth, Marketing & Guest Experience to work closely with the Founder and help build the commercial side of the business from the ground up. This is not a traditional marketing role and it is not a traditional Business Development Manager position. There isn’t a mature sales pipeline waiting for you.

Your job is to help us build it.

The Role

Your core responsibility is simple:

Create attention. Turn attention into enquiries. Turn enquiries into visits. Help turn visits into customers.

You’ll work directly with the Founder across marketing, growth, partnerships, sales development, content and guest experience.

One day you might be filming a fun Instagram Reel around the Manor.

The next, you could be building a database of 500 local businesses for our corporate events pipeline.

Later that afternoon, you might be speaking with a newly engaged couple, arranging their private viewing of estate.

The following week you could be visiting wedding planners, building relationships with local businesses, organising an open day or developing a campaign to introduce the business to hundreds of potential corporate clients.

This role will suit someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.

Your Core Mission

During the first 12 months, we want you to help build the commercial engine behind the business.

That means creating predictable pipelines across:

  • Weddings
  • Corporate events
  • Private celebrations
  • Christmas parties
  • Product launches
  • Conferences and meetings
  • Exclusive-use events
  • Hospitality experiences
  • Future accommodation and wider estate offerings

Growth & Pipeline Development

You’ll take ownership of helping build our customer pipelines from scratch.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining a structured CRM of prospective customers and partners.
  • Identifying newly engaged couples and relevant wedding audiences.
  • Building targeted corporate prospect databases across Warwickshire, Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and the wider Midlands.
  • Identifying businesses with requirements for conferences, awards evenings, Christmas parties, launches, away days and private events.
  • Developing outbound email and telephone campaigns.
  • Following up enquiries quickly and personally.
  • Nurturing prospects who may be 6–24 months away from booking.
  • Creating relationships with wedding planners, event agencies, photographers, caterers, florists and other industry partners.
  • Building referral partnerships with complementary luxury businesses.
  • Helping create wedding fairs, showcase evenings, open days and private viewing events.
  • Tracking where every enquiry originated and continually improving our customer acquisition strategy.
  • Ultimately helping create a repeatable sales system that future members of the team can follow.

Social Media & Content

You will become one of the recognisable faces behind the business.

We’re looking for someone confident enough to pick up a phone or camera and create content rather than waiting for an agency to do everything.

You’ll help:

  • Build the business across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging channels.
  • Appear naturally in videos and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Show people the transformation of the Manor.
  • Create fun, interesting and occasionally quirky content.
  • Tell the stories behind the building and the people creating it.
  • Film venue developments and new experiences as they’re introduced.
  • Interview suppliers, chefs, designers and members of the team.
  • Create content around weddings and events once operational.
  • Develop campaigns designed specifically to generate enquiries rather than vanity metrics.
  • Coordinate professional photography, videography and creative agencies when appropriate.
  • Build an organised library of content.

You do not need to be a professional videographer.

You do need to be comfortable being visible, creative and willing to experiment.

Marketing

You’ll work with the Founder and external specialists to help build the brand and marketing operation.

This will include:

  • Email marketing.
  • CRM campaigns.
  • Social media.
  • Paid social campaigns.
  • Website content.
  • Wedding directories and platforms.
  • Corporate outreach.
  • Partnerships.
  • Influencer and creator opportunities.
  • PR opportunities.
  • Open days and showcases.
  • Printed collateral.
  • Referral programmes.
  • Customer database development.
  • Competitor research.
  • Tracking marketing performance and cost per enquiry.

We want someone interested in understanding what actually generates revenue, not simply producing attractive marketing.

Weddings

You’ll become deeply involved in understanding the wedding customer.

You’ll help:

  • Respond to wedding enquiries.
  • Qualify prospective couples.
  • Arrange venue viewings.
  • Create an exceptional experience before couples even arrive.
  • Assist with private show-rounds.
  • Follow up couples after viewings.
  • Understand why couples book — and why they don’t.
  • Develop relationships with wedding planners and suppliers.
  • Research wedding trends and competitor venues.
  • Help develop packages, experiences and upsells.
  • Generate reviews, testimonials and referrals as the venue grows.

Corporate & Events

Corporate business will be another major pipeline.

You’ll identify and build relationships with:

  • Executive assistants.
  • HR and People teams.
  • Marketing departments.
  • Event managers.
  • Office managers.
  • Managing directors and business owners.
  • Professional event agencies.
  • Local and regional businesses.

The objective isn’t simply to send hundreds of generic emails.

We want someone who can creatively find ways of getting decision-makers through the gates and into the beautiful site.

Guest Experience

It should feel different from the moment somebody enquires.

You’ll help us continually develop that experience.

That could mean:

  • Personalised viewing experiences.
  • Welcome drinks.
  • Follow-up gifts.
  • Creative open days.
  • Couple experiences.
  • Supplier showcases.
  • Unexpected touches around the estate.
  • Remembering guest preferences.
  • Developing the business tone of voice.
  • Making every interaction warm, personal and memorable.

We’re interested in the psychology of exceptional hospitality — the small details that make someone feel genuinely looked after.

Working With the Founder

You’ll work closely with the Founder and will have exposure to considerably more than your job title suggests.

You’ll participate in discussions around:

  • Commercial strategy.
  • Pricing.
  • Customer experience.
  • New revenue streams.
  • Partnerships.
  • Events.
  • Technology.
  • Marketing.
  • Future hospitality concepts.
  • The continued development of the estate.

We want someone who eventually understands the business almost as well as we do.

As the business grows, there is significant potential for this position to develop into a senior Head/Director of Growth / Commercial / Marketing role with a team beneath you.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re much more interested in attitude, commercial instinct and personality than finding somebody with a perfectly conventional CV.

You may currently work in:

  • Marketing
  • Growth
  • Hospitality
  • Events
  • Luxury retail
  • Social media
  • Business development
  • Recruitment
  • Property
  • Start-ups
  • Hotels
  • Wedding venues
  • Creative agencies

Or you may simply be an unusually entrepreneurial graduate or early-career professional who wants an opportunity to build something.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
