About Plug In Stations

Plug In Stations is a NICEIC Approved Contractor specialising in electric vehicle charging installations for homes and businesses. We also carry out general electrical work and are expanding into solar and battery storage.

We are bringing our social media and content creation in-house. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on person to take ownership of our content and grow our online presence.

The role

  • Plan and manage a monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube
  • Create and schedule at least 20 posts per month, including Reels, carousels and regular Stories
  • Travel to job sites and spend days out with our engineers, filming and photographing installations, the team, case studies and customer testimonials
  • Edit short- and long-form video, including talking-head clips, educational content and YouTube videos
  • Design branded graphics for social media, adverts, flyers and promotional material
  • Write at least two SEO-focused blog articles per month
  • Set up and manage paid Facebook and Instagram campaigns
  • Monitor and respond to messages and comments across our channels
  • Track performance and provide monthly reports, identifying ways to improve engagement and reach
  • Recommend and look after our filming kit (cameras, microphones and lighting)

What we’re looking for

  • A strong portfolio of your own filming, photography, editing and design work (essential)
  • At least two years’ experience in business-focused content creation and social media management
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
  • Graphic design skills using Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom or Canva
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager and social media analytics
  • Excellent written English and the ability to write engaging copy
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to job sites across London and the South East
  • Drone experience is a bonus
