Hull Cartridge Company is a family owned and run business manufacturing shotgun ammunition, distributing to gun shops, shooting schools and other commercial shooting venues. Our product range is sold throughout the UK and internationally. We pride ourselves on quality and innovation therefore we are looking for a creative, passionate person who is equally conscientious in their work.

The job is 18 hours per week, preferably between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Wednesday. (There is some flexibility in days worked per week or hours worked per day but once agreed these will comprise a standard contracted working week). The role sits in the Marketing Department and would be split between Graphic Design and support to the Marketing functions.

The Graphic design / Marketing Coordinator role:

Graphic Design
Reporting to the marketing department you will be part of the team that drives forward the visual presentation of brand messages across all communication channels. You will produce high quality traditional and digital content according to the company needs, this will vary from week to week.

· Creating captivating print material such as price lists, flyers and company newsletter.

· Creating graphics / making amends to packaging for custom branded and stock products.

· Providing artwork imagery for social media promotion / new product adverts and promotional materials such as banners and event adverts.

· Video editing for trade stand TV promotions and social media reels.

· In house photography such as simple product shots.

· Occasional location content creation – Photography & Videography

· Creating visual mock ups of designed exhibition stands and branded merchandise.

Marketing Co-ordinator Role

As an extension of the design artwork, the Marketing Co-ordinator will continue the marketing process from creating content to assisting in planning & scheduling digital content, managing print deadlines and assist in completing actions within event timelines.

· Monitoring and updating the news section on the company website.

· Scheduling appropriate content for social media posts throughout the year to promote events, product launches and relevant industry topics.

· Schedule monthly Mailchimp newsletters to both trade and retail customers.

· Support in the marketing activities in the run up to events.

· Assisting in the stock control, designing and ordering of branded merchandise.

· Fully proficient using software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign) & a video editing software such as Cap-Cut or similar.

· Good knowledge of social media platforms

· Proactive, self – motivated person who thrives in fast paced environments.

· Has excellent time management to independently prioritise and meet deadlines.

· Strong communications skills to collaboratively work with other members of the marketing team.

· Any experience in photography / videography is welcomed.

Previous office experience within a Marketing Department is preferred but not essential.

Pay: £19,000.00 per year
