FlyUp was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Simon and Angela Ruskin with one simple goal: help riders spend more time riding and less time pushing uphill.

What began as an uplift service at Cannop Cycle Centre has grown into the 417 Bike Park—England's largest privately owned mountain bike facility. Today, the park offers everything coaching, uplift, events and a thriving riding community.

We're passionate about creating unforgettable riding experiences, and we're looking for someone who can bring that passion to life across our digital channels.

The Role

As our Social Media Executive, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content that showcases everything happening at the 417 Bike Park.

Working alongside our Sales & Marketing Executive, you'll help deliver campaigns that increase engagement, grow our online community and encourage more people to visit the park.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan, create and manage engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Edit and publish high-quality short-form video content and photography.
• Write engaging social media captions, website updates and blog content where required.
• Develop content ideas that showcase the park, coaching, uplift, events and the wider FlyUp community.
• Manage the content calendar and identify opportunities around seasonal events and promotions.
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content to maximise reach and engagement.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages and encouraging conversation.
• Track content performance using platform analytics and recommend improvements.
• Support marketing campaigns, launches and promotional activity alongside the Sales & Marketing Executive.
• Help maintain and update website content when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves creating content and understands what performs well on social media. You don't need to be a professional mountain biker—but you should enjoy being outdoors and be excited about capturing action, personalities and stories.

You'll be:

• Experienced in managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
• Editing engaging short-form video content.
• Skilled at creating content that feels authentic, creative and on-brand.
• A strong writer with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using analytics to understand what works and improve future content.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload.
• Full of ideas and happy to take ownership from concept through to delivery.
• Interested in mountain biking, outdoor sports or action sports (desirable but not essential).
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
