Social Media Content Manager

Location: Felixstowe based but required to travel to Ipswich and Stowmarket (must be able to drive)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hi, we're the Raptor Logistics Group a proactive and full of energy logistics group based in Suffolk

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social to turn our feeds into the place people actually want to scroll.

The role

You'll be the creative engine behind our social channels. You'll dream up ideas, film them, edit them, post them and obsess over what makes people stop mid-scroll. You'll have real ownership from day one, a team that backs your ideas, and the freedom to try things (and occasionally flop spectacularly, because that's how we learn).

What you'll be doing

  • Planning, creating and publishing engaging content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, carousels), Facebook and other platforms
  • Spotting trends, sounds and memes early, and knowing which ones are right for our brand (and which to skip)
  • Filming and editing short-form video, from concept to caption to upload
  • Building and managing a content calendar so our channels stay fresh and consistent
  • Writing scroll-stopping captions, hooks and scripts in our brand voice
  • Engaging with our community by replying to comments, joining conversations and keeping things fun
  • Tracking performance, learning what works and using the insights to level up
  • Collaborating with the wider team on campaigns, launches and the occasional chaotic brainstorm
  • Exploring creators, collabs and new formats to grow our reach

What we're looking for

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience creating content for TikTok and META, whether through a previous role, internship, university project, freelance work or your own channels
  • Experience making Reels for Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
  • Experience with other social platforms, such as YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest
  • A strong understanding of what makes short-form content perform
  • Confident video shooting and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot, Canva or similar)
  • Excellent written communication and a good sense of humour
  • Confident being on camera, we will need you to be in some of the content

Nice to have:

  • Experience with scheduling or analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, TikTok Analytics)
  • Photography or graphic design skills
  • Experience working with influencers or user-generated content
  • A portfolio, or social accounts you've grown, that you're proud of
