Full job description

Daniella Draper is an independent UK jewellery brand built around beautiful design, craftsmanship and individuality. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and creative Videographer – Marketing to help bring our jewellery, brand story and campaigns to life through compelling visual content.

The Role

As our Videographer – Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, filming and editing high-quality video content across our marketing channels.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, website, email campaigns, paid advertising and wider brand communications.

From beautifully shot jewellery details and campaign films to behind-the-scenes footage, customer-led content and fast-moving social videos, you’ll help establish and evolve the brand’s visual identity.

This role would suit someone who combines strong technical filmmaking skills with creative instinct, an understanding of social media and a genuine passion for brands, fashion, jewellery or visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

  • Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video content for social media, digital marketing and brand campaigns.
  • Create engaging short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and other social platforms.
  • Produce product-focused films that showcase the detail, design, craftsmanship and quality of our jewellery.
  • Create campaign films, lifestyle content, launch videos and seasonal marketing assets.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, including design, production, packaging, photoshoots and the day-to-day life of an independent brand.
  • Film founder-led, creator-led and customer-focused content where appropriate.
  • Create content suitable for both organic social media and paid advertising.
  • Adapt video content into different formats, lengths and aspect ratios for different platforms.

Creative Development

  • Develop creative concepts and visual treatments that reflect the brand's identity.
  • Work with the marketing team to translate campaign briefs and commercial objectives into compelling video.
  • Contribute ideas for new content formats, series and storytelling concepts.
  • Stay ahead of relevant social video trends, formats, editing styles and platform developments.
  • Balance trend-led content with a consistent, recognisable premium brand aesthetic.

Production

  • Plan shoots from concept through to final delivery, including locations, props, styling and shot lists.
  • Coordinate with models, creators, photographers, stylists and other freelancers when required.
  • Manage filming equipment and ensure footage is captured to a consistently high standard.
  • Work efficiently within agreed budgets, timelines and production schedules.
  • Organise and maintain video files and digital assets.

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit footage into polished, engaging content for different channels.
  • Add music, sound design, captions, graphics, transitions and other elements where appropriate.
  • Colour grade footage to maintain a consistent visual style.
  • Create versions optimised for different platforms and advertising placements.
  • Select appropriate music and audio in line with brand and platform requirements.
  • Retouch or enhance footage where necessary, particularly for jewellery/product content.

Marketing & Performance

  • Work with the marketing team to ensure content supports product launches, campaigns and commercial priorities.
  • Review content performance and use insights to improve future video.
  • Understand the role of video throughout the customer journey, from brand awareness through to consideration and conversion.
  • Help build a library of high-quality evergreen video assets that can be used across multiple marketing channels.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a videographer, filmmaker, content producer or similar.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your video production and editing skills.
  • Experience creating content specifically for social media and digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok and short-form video.
  • Excellent knowledge of composition, lighting, camera operation, movement and sound.
  • Strong editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar.
  • An excellent eye for detail, particularly when filming small, highly visual products such as jewellery.
  • An understanding of pacing, storytelling and what makes content engaging.
  • The ability to translate a creative idea into a practical shoot.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative and flexible approach suited to an entrepreneurial SME environment.
  • A genuine passion for visual storytelling, fashion, jewellery, beauty, lifestyle or premium consumer brands.

Desirable Skills

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience filming jewellery, fashion, luxury, beauty or other premium products.
  • Product and macro videography experience.
  • Experience creating content for paid social advertising.
  • Photography skills.
  • Experience with lighting and studio/product setups.
  • Motion graphics or basic animation skills.
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators.
  • Experience with colour grading and sound design.
  • Experience producing founder-led or UGC-style content.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and platform best practices.
