About Premier Snag

Premier Snag is a fast-growing property inspection company providing professional snagging and surveying services to homeowners across the UK.

We are looking for a talented and energetic full-time Videographer and Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This is not a traditional desk-based marketing role. You will regularly travel to properties, developments, events and other locations to capture engaging content and show our audience what happens behind the scenes at Premier Snag.

Videography is the most important part of this position. You must be confident planning, filming and editing professional content independently.

The Role

You will take ownership of Premier Snag’s video content from initial idea through to filming, editing and publication.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Travelling with our team to properties, construction sites, developments and events.
  • Filming high-quality short-form and long-form video content.
  • Capturing property defects, inspections, customer stories and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Producing engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and other relevant platforms.
  • Planning and hosting live social media broadcasts from properties, events and inspections.
  • Editing videos with captions, graphics, music, transitions and strong opening hooks.
  • Turning longer recordings into multiple short-form videos, reels and clips.
  • Photographing team activities, properties and events when required.
  • Developing creative video concepts that educate, entertain and build trust in the Premier Snag brand.
  • Managing the social media content calendar.
  • Scheduling and publishing posts across all company social media accounts using a central social media management platform.
  • Writing clear and engaging captions for social posts.
  • Monitoring comments, messages and audience engagement.
  • Reviewing content performance and using the results to improve future videos.
  • Keeping up with relevant social media trends, formats and platform changes.
  • Organising and maintaining the company’s video, photography and content library.

What We Are Looking For

You must have:

  • Strong practical experience in professional videography and video editing.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality video content.
  • Confidence filming people, properties, live situations and unscripted moments.
  • Experience creating content specifically for social media.
  • The ability to plan, film and edit content independently.
  • A good understanding of lighting, sound, composition and storytelling.
  • Experience using professional video-editing software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Confidence working in a fast-moving environment where each day may be different.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
  • A professional, friendly and confident personality when dealing with customers, inspectors and members of the public.

Experience within property, construction, home improvement or surveying would be helpful, but it is not essential.

Why Join Premier Snag?

This is an exciting opportunity to become the creative force behind the content of a growing national brand.

You will have the freedom to introduce new ideas, develop recurring video formats and help shape how Premier Snag presents itself online. The role will involve a varied mix of property visits, live broadcasts, educational videos, customer-focused content, events and behind-the-scenes filming.

This position would suit someone who wants to be out filming and creating, rather than spending every day behind a desk.

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • Your CV.
  • A link to your videography or content portfolio.
  • Examples of social media videos you have filmed and edited.

Applications without examples of previous video work may not be considered.

Pay: From £25,500.00 per year
