Hunkydory Crafts are an award winning papercraft company, designing and manufacturing craft products in Preston, Lancashire. We are a well-established family run company who pride ourselves on our creative working environment.

We are currently looking for a confident and enthusiastic product designer to join our design team. You will play a key role in designing new products including metal cutting dies, clear stamps, stencils/masks, embossing folders and more! You will be involved in all aspects of the creative process, from research and planning, designing, packaging and photography and product testing.

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of a BA level degree in a creative field or equivalent as well as some industry experience
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work to tight deadlines
  • A professional manner when liaising with manufacturers and suppliers
  • A self-motivated approach
  • An interest in craft, card-making, scrapbooking and/or journalling

Our preferred candidate will have the following skillset:

  • Excellent Illustrator knowledge with a particular interest in vector design
  • Photoshop and InDesign skills an added bonus
  • Drawing/illustration in different styles
  • An exceptional eye for detail
  • Able to work to strict guidelines
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas
  • An interest in crafting would be a bonus!
  • Must have a portfolio of content to showcase experience!
