LEVEL 3 APPRENTICE - MARKETING & CONTENT CREATOR

LOCATION: Leicester, LE5
PAY: £8.00 per hour
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am -5pm (37.5 hours)
JOB TYPE: Full-time, apprenticeship

Please note that this is a Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship. Applicants who already hold a Level 3 or higher marketing-related qualification, or who have extensive previous experience in a marketing-related role, may not be eligible for this apprenticeship.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and confident Level 3 Marketing & Content Creator Apprentice to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about content creation, social media, video and digital marketing and wants to build a career in the industry.

You will work alongside an experienced Social Media Manager, Content Creator and Video Editor, gaining hands-on experience creating content for a range of well-known fragrance, beauty and luxury accessory brands.

A key part of the role will involve being on camera, creating video content and supporting social media LIVE sessions, so you should be comfortable appearing on camera and enthusiastic about developing your presentation and content creation skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Researching social media trends and developing new content ideas
• Creating and uploading short-form and long-form video content
• Filming products, demonstrations, behind-the-scenes content and team activity
• Appearing on camera and delivering scripted and semi-scripted content
• Developing your presentation and product storytelling skills
• Supporting and eventually co-hosting and hosting TikTok and social media LIVE sessions
• Supporting live commerce and auction-style formats
• Capturing photography and video using professional studio equipment
• Editing video alongside the Senior Editors and developing your own editing skills
• Creating social media graphics and marketing assets using Canva, Adobe and AI tools
• Supporting email marketing campaigns
• Writing and optimising SEO content for product pages, landing pages and blogs
• Supporting SEO and off-site outreach activity
• Supporting influencer and creator outreach and collaborations
• Helping build and improve sales funnels across social media, paid advertising, email and product pages
• Supporting the measurement of content performance, including views, watch time, completion, engagement and click-through rates
• Attending strategy meetings and contributing ideas to future marketing activity
• Supporting the wider sales and marketing team with day-to-day activity

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has a genuine passion for content creation, social media and digital marketing
• Is confident and comfortable appearing on camera
• Is enthusiastic about creating both short-form and long-form video
• Is creative and enjoys developing new ideas
• Is confident using social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
• Is keen to learn video editing, photography and digital marketing skills
• Is proactive and willing to get involved
• Has good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team
• Is interested in using AI tools and automation to improve creativity and workflow
• Is organised and able to manage different tasks and deadlines
• Is interested in travelling for shoots and events when required

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be aged 18 or over due to the on-camera and live elements of the role
• You must be able to work from the client's Leicester head office
• An active passport is required due to potential UK and international travel
• A driving licence would be advantageous due to travel for shoots and events
• You must be comfortable with occasional evening LIVE sessions, planned around the apprenticeship's training requirements

You do not need previous professional marketing experience.

A passion for fragrance, beauty or fashion would be an advantage.
