As one of the country’s leading photographic studios, Bartley Portrait Studios are a team of friendly creatives focused on giving families an exceptional experience throughout their journey with us.

What we provide for our customers is pretty special, we are creating beautiful, happy memories of family’s relationships and bonds, capturing their personalities and character. These are not production line portraits, they are creative, unique images that are displayed on our clients’ walls for many years to come.

We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Digital Retoucher to join our team.

The successful candidate must have previous commercial experience in photographic retouching and be able to provide examples of this.

This is a studio-based position (no remote applications please) and is for 5 days per week, Tuesday to Friday (including one later shift until 7.30pm) along with one weekend day per week.

£26,500 based on 40 hours per week, exclusive of team bonuses with an additional potential £2,500 pa.

The Role

· Complete responsibility for the retouching/manipulation/design work/resizing/ colour balance of all images ordered by our clients.

· Uploading images for print and accurately ordering the required frames from our lab.

· Quality control of products delivered ensuring that all orders are correct and to a high standard.

· Ensuring that the turnaround time in retouch and production is within the guidelines required for the customer.

· Playing a key part in other areas of the business such as meeting and greeting clients, answering telephone calls etc.

Knowledge and Experience required

· Fluent in PC/I.T. operations along with a high level of working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop with proven manipulation skills

· Photography or Design education background preferred

· Have an excellent understanding of colour correction along with a strong eye for detail
