We are looking for a creative, proactive and results-driven Video Content Executive to join our Social Media team.

This role is responsible for creating engaging, platform-first video content that inspires audiences, strengthens brand awareness and supports wider business objectives.

You will lead the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation and planning through to filming, editing, publishing and performance analysis, producing high-quality content tailored to each social media platform. You’ll have a keen eye for emerging social trends and love bringing fresh, creative ideas to the team to help shape and evolve our overall social media strategy.

This dynamic role will see you collaborating closely with teams across the business to create impactful video content that engages audiences across more than 1,000 brand social media channels.

Competences / Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Social Media content creation experience
• Strong creative vision and a drive to produce engaging content
• Proven experience with high quality post-production standards
• Expertise in planning, shooting and editing short-form, video content
• Creativity, impeccable attention to detail, and a strong eye for visual aesthetics
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• A strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and what makes a video go viral
• Familiar with tools like Meta Business Suite and TikTok Analytics to measure video performance and optimise content
• Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new video production tools, editing software, or platform updates
• Passionate about keeping up with the latest social media trends and industry updates
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Experience using AI-powered creative tools to support content ideation, editing and production workflows

Specific Duties

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content tailored to various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and identity
• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera when required, helping to deliver engaging and relatable social media content
• Explore and implement new videography and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends and proactively suggest creative ways to craft platform-specific video content
• Optimise video content for different platforms and audiences to maximise reach, engagement, and impact
• Serve as a video editing resource for the broader team, including creating internal videos as needed
• Collaborate closely with various business stakeholders to plan and execute social media content that aligns with business goals and campaigns
• Lead meetings with business divisions to gather input, propose effective social media content plans and deliver against agreed objectives
• Manage and execute paid social media advertising campaigns accurately and effectively
• Monitor and analyse content performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance results
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure the brand remains competitive and top-of-mind
• Act as the ambassador for video content within the business, building a centralised asset bank for localised use
• Provide support and guidance to business divisions on social media queries face to face over the phone and across email
• Contribute to a consistent and cohesive digital strategy across all platforms
• Willingness to travel as needed to capture content on-site, such as at retail branches, airports, ports and overseas destinations when required.

• Full UK driving licence required
• Expectation to travel nationwide and overseas when required
