Ecommerce Product Photographer (Jewellery & Watches)

Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Office Based | Kidderminster

Salary £26,800

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Product Photographer to join our in-house studio team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Working closely with our Ecommerce, Marketing and Product teams, you will be responsible for producing high-quality product imagery for our jewellery and watch websites. The successful candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, excellent technical photography skills and a passion for creating consistently high-quality images that accurately represent our products online.

This role requires an individual who can work efficiently to deadlines whilst maintaining the high standards expected across our brands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the studio team to photograph jewellery, watches and related products for our ecommerce websites.
  • Setting up and operating cameras, lighting and studio equipment.
  • Photographing products using tethered capture software.
  • Producing high-quality, consistently beautiful images that are correctly exposed and colour accurate.
  • Retouching and preparing images using Adobe Photoshop in line with company guidelines.
  • Following in-house photography guidelines to ensure image consistency across all product categories.
  • Photographing a high volume of products whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Organising completed work for checking and upload.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team when required to create imagery and artwork for campaigns.
  • Assisting with the care, organisation and upkeep of the studio, equipment and photography workspaces.
  • Handling jewellery and watches responsibly and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Supporting the wider photography team to ensure weekly photography targets are achieved.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience using DSLR camera systems.
  • Strong photography and studio lighting skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and tethered photography software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines when required.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in product photography.
  • Experience within jewellery, watches, luxury goods or similar small-product photography.
  • Understanding of ecommerce photography requirements.
  • Photography qualification, degree or equivalent creative qualification.
  • Experience working within a commercial studio environment.
