Join the Paladone Creative Freelancer Network

Are you an experienced videographer with a portfolio of high-quality lifestyle, product and commercial video content? Do you enjoy working with exciting consumer brands and licensed products?

We are looking to build a network of talented freelance creatives who can support Paladone and WeCool Toys on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis as business demands require.

Freelancers will work on-site at our Shoreham-by-Sea office, using our in-house studio facilities alongside the wider Media team. Our studio space and capabilities are continuing to develop and expand, so we're looking for adaptable creatives who are comfortable working within a growing in-house production environment.

Applicants will therefore need to be able to reliably commute to our Shoreham-by-Sea location.

This is not an employed position. Successful applicants will join our approved freelancer network and may be engaged for specific projects, campaigns, product launches and periods of increased workload.

WeCool Toys is a global designer and manufacturer of dynamic toys, crafts and compounds, managing endtoend production, packaging and distribution. As part of Paladone Group Holdings, WeCool plays a key role in our international growth strategy.

The Opportunity

We're seeking talented freelance videographers to support our Media team in producing high-quality commercial video content for Paladone and WeCool Toys products.

The primary focus will be lifestyle and product-led video for digital, e-commerce and marketing use. You'll work within agreed project requirements, brand standards and deliverables, while taking ownership of the creative and technical execution of assigned shoots.

Assignments will be offered on an ad-hoc basis depending on project requirements, capacity and business needs.

Typical Project Responsibilities

Shoot high-quality lifestyle and commercial video content featuring Paladone and WeCool Toys products.

Take ownership of shoot set-up and execution, including set design, lighting, framing and camera movement within agreed project requirements.

Edit footage into finished content suitable for the required channels and formats.

Carry out colour correction, motion graphics and other post-production work where required.

Work on-site alongside the Media team and respond to feedback throughout the production process.

Deliver final assets in agreed formats, resolutions and file structures.

Store and organise raw footage, project files and completed assets on Paladone's internal servers.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

Proven experience in commercial, lifestyle and/or product videography.

A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant commercial video work.

Strong filming, lighting and composition skills.

Experience using DSLR and mirrorless camera systems. Our current studio kit primarily uses Canon DSLR and mirrorless systems.

Strong video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.

Experience with colour correction and preparing content for a range of digital formats.

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is beneficial, but not essential.

Experience working with Mac operating systems.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

A good eye for visual storytelling and commercial presentation.

The ability to work independently, take creative ownership of shoots and meet agreed requirements and deadlines.

The ability to reliably commute to and work from our Shoreham-by-Sea office.
