MB Motors is a well-established name in vehicle servicing and repairs, trusted by our customers for the quality and honesty of our work. That same standard now needs to be reflected online. We're looking for an experienced, polished content professional to take our social media to the next level — someone who brings genuine craft to the role, not just consistency. The role Working alongside our marketing partner, you'll take ownership of MB Motors' social media output — planning, filming, editing, writing, and posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter). This is a content-production role in the true sense: highly produced short-form video sitting alongside well-crafted long-form pieces, all built to a standard that matches the quality of the work happening in our workshop. We're after someone who can operate at that level from day one. Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with our marketing partner to plan and deliver a joined-up content strategy across all channels - Produce highly polished short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) — workshop footage, vehicle work, staff and customer features, behind-the-scenes - Develop well-crafted long-form content — YouTube pieces, in-depth features, and promotional video with real production value - Write sharp, considered copy — captions, scripts, and posts that reflect a premium brand voice - Shoot professional-standard photography and video across the workshop and vehicles - Report on performance and use data to continually refine content and strategy - Keep pace with platform trends and translate them into content that fits MB Motors, not the other way around - Manage community engagement — comments and messages — in a way that reflects our standards What we're looking for - A genuine track record producing high-quality content for an established brand or business — this is not an entry-level role - Real command of filming and editing, on both phone and dedicated camera equipment, with an eye for polish and production value - Confidence on camera, and the judgement to know when a shot is good enough and when it isn't - Excellent writing and a strong, practised sense of brand voice - Experience collaborating with external agencies or marketing partners - Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable working to a strategic content plan rather than posting reactively - Full UK driving licence is required - Automotive or trade-sector experience is an advantage but not essential — what matters most is the quality of your work What we offer - All equipment provided — camera, gimbal, lighting, microphones, and editing software/laptop, so you can produce at a professional standard from day one - Direct collaboration with our marketing partner, backing your content with real strategy - A business with genuine standards and reputation to build on - Real creative input and trust to shape how MB Motors shows up online - Competitive salary, based on experience
