Full job description

My client is looking for a Digital Photoshop Artist to join their creative team in Knaresborough. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Photoshop skills and a creative mindset to produce high-quality imagery for a well-established consumer brand.

Working closely with the Creative Director, photographers and the wider creative team, you'll help create engaging visuals for marketing campaigns. It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll be involved from concept through to the finished image, using your eye for detail to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality digital imagery for a range of marketing campaigns.
  • Source or generate suitable background images, including using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Midjourney where appropriate.
  • Work alongside the photography team to ensure lighting, composition and perspective work naturally within the final image.
  • Retouch and edit images in Photoshop, adding digital elements, textures and lighting effects to produce polished, realistic artwork.
  • Work with the Creative Director to develop new ideas and creative concepts.
  • Ensure all artwork is in keeping with the company's brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects and work to agreed deadlines.

About You

  • You'll have advanced Photoshop skills and be able to demonstrate these through a strong portfolio.
  • You have a good understanding of composition, perspective, lighting and shadow.
  • You enjoy the creative process and have a keen eye for detail.
  • You're organised, able to manage your own workload and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • You're happy to take on feedback and make amendments where needed.
  • You work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • You're enthusiastic, keen to learn and enjoy bringing new ideas to the table.

Desirable

  • Experience using AI image generation tools such as Midjourney.
  • Experience using 3DS Max to pose CGI (3D) characters.
  • A full UK driving licence.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and creative team where you'll be able to develop your skills while working on a wide variety of exciting projects.
