Full job description

Training Content Videographer
Location: King’s Cross, London with hybrid working and regular travel to training centres
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

About the role

Access Training is expanding its digital learning offering and is looking for a Training Content Videographer to take ownership of our video-based training resources. This is a hands-on role focused on producing high-quality, professional content that supports learning across the skilled trades.

You will lead our video training videography end to end, combining strong technical capability with a structured, outcome-focused approach to educational content. The role suits someone who is comfortable balancing creative production with clear standards, consistency, and delivery against agreed learning objectives.

You'll report directly to our Curriculum Development Manager and Marketing Manager and work closely with our team of experienced tutors.

What you’ll be doing

  • Producing long-form training modules and short-form educational videos in collaboration with curriculum and brand teams
  • Translating complex technical skills into concise, visually clear learning content
  • Co-ordinating the full script-to-screen process, working closely with subject matter experts and the Curriculum Development Manager from concept through to final edit
  • Capturing high-quality video and audio at training centres, including directing and coaching non-professional presenters
  • Working with freelancers such as editors to scale output while maintaining quality
  • Acting as the quality and brand gatekeeper across all video assets, ensuring consistency in visuals, tone, and presentation
  • Co-ordinating production schedules and managing multiple content streams simultaneously

Technical experience and skills

  • At least 2 years’ professional video production experience, either in-house or agency-side
  • Experience filming educational or learning content is highly desirable
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end video production capability
  • Advanced use of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop for thumbnails, overlays, and brand assets
  • Confident handling 4K camera systems, lighting setups, and professional audio equipment
  • Experience managing freelancers and external suppliers
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel regularly between training centres

What we’re looking for

  • High attention to technical quality, including audio, lighting, colour grading, and visual consistency
  • Strong organisation skills, able to manage filming schedules and contractors with minimal supervision
  • Clear and confident communicator, comfortable working with educators, managers, and on-camera contributors
  • Practical creativity, adapting production techniques to keep content engaging while meeting defined learning outcomes
  • A professional, detail-focused approach aligned with structured learning delivery

Interview process

We aim to complete the interview process within a 2 week period and the process consists of:

  • Initial remote interview with the Marketing Manager
  • A competency based technical task
  • Second interview with additional team members

This role offers the opportunity to shape how vocational training content is delivered at scale, with genuine ownership over quality, process, and output. If you enjoy combining creative production with clear standards and educational impact, this role offers both a challenge and opportunities for progression.
