Full job description

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist – Self-Employed Associate

Kinetic Physio Ltd – Winchmore Hill, North London, N21
Part-time | Self-employed | 16–20 hours per week

Kinetic Physio is a growing private physiotherapy practice with clinics in Muswell Hill and Winchmore Hill. We are looking for an experienced and dependable MSK Physiotherapist to help develop our Winchmore Hill clinic and build a long-term caseload.

This position would suit an established clinician who enjoys working independently, takes responsibility for patient outcomes and is genuinely interested in becoming part of a growing practice.

Please read the essential requirements carefully before applying.

The role

You will assess and treat a varied private MSK caseload, including:

  • Spinal and peripheral joint conditions
  • Sports and running-related injuries
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Persistent pain
  • Strength and exercise rehabilitation
  • Pregnancy-related MSK pain, where appropriately trained

The clinic is based within a friendly personal-training studio, providing access to gym and rehabilitation equipment.

You will be expected to:

  • Manage your own caseload confidently and independently
  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centred treatment
  • Develop clear treatment plans and rehabilitation goals
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records
  • Rebook patients according to clinical need
  • Communicate professionally with patients, consultants and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide patients with a written summary following their initial assessment
  • Contribute to building the clinic through excellent patient care, reviews, local relationships and occasional content
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Kinetic Physio team

Essential requirements

Please only apply if you meet all the following requirements:

  • HCPC registered
  • CSP registered
  • Minimum five years’ post-graduate MSK experience
  • At least one year’s experience working in private practice
  • Available to work 16–20 hours per week
  • Confident assessing and treating a broad MSK caseload without close supervision
  • Strong manual therapy and exercise-rehabilitation skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Reliable, organised and comfortable using electronic notes and exercise-prescription software
  • Able to commit to regular weekly hours
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

Desirable

  • Acupuncture or dry-needling qualification
  • Clinical Pilates qualification
  • Experience treating runners or performing running assessments
  • Experience managing pregnancy-related MSK conditions
  • Pelvic-health training or an interest in developing this area
  • Existing local professional or community connections

What we offer

  • A well-equipped treatment room within a gym environment
  • Administrative, marketing and clinical support
  • Online booking and electronic patient-management systems
  • Exercise-prescription software
  • Opportunities to develop specialist services
  • Potential to increase hours as demand grows
  • A supportive, ambitious and patient-focused team
  • Competitive self-employed rates based on experience and services provided

This is a self-employed associate position, not a salaried role. Income will depend on the number and type of patients treated. We are looking for someone who understands private practice and is prepared to contribute actively to developing and retaining a caseload.
