Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to inspire and cultivate musical talent in students of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging piano lessons that foster technical proficiency, musical understanding, and a lifelong love for music. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students achieve their personal goals, whether they are beginners or advanced players. Responsibilities

  • Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, learning style, and musical interests
  • Teach proper piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills
  • Create a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to excel
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth
  • Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student achievements
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development and upcoming events

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching piano to diverse age groups and skill levels
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey musical concepts and motivate students
  • Knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques
  • Experience working with children and understanding early childhood education principles
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior and create an engaging learning environment
  • Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies is a plus
  • Creative writing or child development experience is beneficial for designing innovative lessons
  • Previous preschool or early childhood education experience enhances your ability to connect with young learners
