Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Group Piano & Keyboard Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through engaging, dynamic, and personalized instruction. In this role, you will foster a love for music while developing students’ technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence. Your energetic approach will motivate learners to reach their full potential in a supportive and creative environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ musical journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging group piano and keyboard lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels
  • Design lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, participation, and musical exploration
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Organize and prepare students for recitals, performances, or showcases to build confidence and stage presence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and innovative teaching strategies
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and student progress reports

Experience

  • Prior experience teaching piano or keyboard in a group setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, keyboard techniques, and pedagogical methods for various age groups
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all levels
  • Passion for music education with a lively, energetic teaching style that engages learners
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs while maintaining a fun and motivating atmosphere
  • Formal music education or certification is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and dedication are essential
