Range Planning Manager

£40,000 - £50,000 | 30 days' holiday including bank holidays | Excellent benefits

Drive the range. Influence the future.

We're looking for a commercially minded Range Planning Manager to take ownership of the range planning and review process across a large and fast-moving wholesale business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in range planning, category management, assortment planning or commercial project management who enjoys working across teams and turning insight into action.

You'll work closely with Buying and Category teams, coordinating Supply Chain, Operations, Depots and other key stakeholders to make sure range changes are delivered successfully, on time and with a clear commercial and customer benefit.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead annual and periodic range reviews across your assigned categories.
  • Develop plans, timelines and milestones to ensure reviews are delivered effectively.
  • Work with Buying and Category teams to use customer, sales and category insight to inform range decisions.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products, delistings and range changes across the business.
  • Manage implementation plans, stock run-down and depot readiness.
  • Identify risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Lead workshops and review meetings, bringing stakeholders together and driving decisions.
  • Monitor the impact of range changes and use insight to improve future performance.
  • Build strong relationships across Buying, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial and Depot teams.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in range planning, category management, assortment planning or commercial project management.
  • Commercially focused and customer minded.
  • Confident working with data and turning analysis into practical recommendations.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A strong communicator and stakeholder manager.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and teams.
  • Proactive, collaborative and someone who enjoys taking ownership.

Experience within retail, wholesale, grocery, convenience or FMCG would be highly desirable, particularly if you understand supply chain or operational environments.

What's in it for you?

This is more than a role focused on spreadsheets and range files. You'll have the opportunity to influence commercial decisions, work with senior stakeholders and see your recommendations implemented across a large-scale operation.

You'll join an established, successful and diverse international business that offers the scale and variety to build a rewarding career.

You'll receive:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 salary
  • 30 days' holiday including bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Private Medical
  • Life Assurance
  • Onsite parking
  • Career development opportunities
  • A collaborative and inclusive working environment
  • The opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact

You don't need to meet every requirement to apply. If you have strong experience in range, category, commercial or project management and are looking for a role where you can take ownership and make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today to take the next step in your career.
