Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team, specializing in the transportation of mobile welfare units and generators. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely delivering essential equipment to various locations, ensuring timely and professional service. operational efficiency, making a positive impact every day through your dedication and driving expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vans or trucks to deliver mobile welfare units and generators to designated sites.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to meet scheduling requirements while optimizing fuel and time resources.
  • Load and unload equipment with care, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary for heavy items.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety standards are maintained.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF TOWING AND HOLD A VALID TACHOGRAPH CARD
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with van or commercial vehicle operation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license is prefered
  • Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning tools.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service at all times.
