Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Installer and Sign Installers Mate to join our installation team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sign-related systems in various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in signage to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. Candidates must be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and punctuality.

Duties

  • Install and assemble sign systems according to technical specifications and schematics
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing installations to ensure optimal performance
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete installation tasks efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
  • Assist with other construction-related tasks such as plastering, masonry, carpentry, or fabrication as required
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to health and safety standards
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the signage industry of 3 years + (can accept none for the junior role)
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment
  • Knowledge of schematics, construction painting, masonry, carpentry, or plastering is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures within construction environments
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • CSCS Mandatory IPAF and PASMA ideal but we can provide if not already got
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be located within 1hr of CM77 6RW
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship. This role provides an excellent platform for career growth within the construction industry.

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
