Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and security-cleared (SC) Plasterers to join our specialised construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering work within secure environments, adhering to strict safety and security protocols. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople with a background in construction and related disciplines to contribute to vital projects requiring SC clearance. All positions are paid, including internships, with a focus on professionalism and precision.

Duties

  • Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in accordance with project specifications
  • Preparing surfaces prior to plastering, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
  • Using hand tools such as trowels, hawks, and floats to achieve smooth finishes
  • Operating power tools safely for cutting, mixing, and surface preparation
  • Interpreting schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of plastering techniques
  • Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and fabricators to coordinate work phases
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and security protocols
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration

Requirements

  • Valid security clearance (SC) is essential prior to employment commencement
  • Proven experience in plastering within construction or related environments
  • Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, and construction painting is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
