WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SELF-EMPLOYED PLASTERER / RENDERER

Job Title: Self-Employed Plasterer / Renderer (CIS Subcontractor)
Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas (Local domestic/commercial sites)
Job Type: Subcontract / Temporary / Contract work
Rate: £150 – £200 per day (or: "Price work / Rates negotiable based on experience")
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible hours available)

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, reliable Self-Employed Plasterer / Renderer to join our team for ongoing work across the Milton Keynes area. We manage a steady pipeline of high-end domestic work and need a clean, time-served professional who can work independently to an exceptional standard.

What the Role Involves:

  • Carrying out high-quality internal skimming, plasterboarding/tacking, and bonding.
  • Rendering (internal/external) and patch/repair work as required.
  • Removing or skimming over old Artex ceilings.
  • Ensuring all work areas are left clean, tidy, and fully protected.
  • Working efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a flawless finish.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional plastering/rendering experience (Time-served or NVQ Level 2/3).
  • CIS Registered: Must have a valid UTR number for Construction Industry Scheme tax deductions.
  • Tools & Transport: Must have a driving licence and preferably your own reliable transport, a full set of trade tools, stilts/steps, and mixing equipment.
  • Standards: Punctual, reliable, and respectful of clients' properties. A smooth, paint-ready finish is non-negotiable.
