Skilled Labourer Wanted

Full-time permanent position available for contracts throughout the North West. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our team. Candidates should have previous construction experience. You will work alongside our tradespeople and supervisors on a variety of projects, assisting with general building and maintenance tasks and carrying out work within your own capabilities.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out general building and labouring works, including:

  • Assisting tradespeople with building, repair and maintenance works.
  • General building and labouring duties.
  • Preparing work areas and materials.
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment.
  • Using hand and power tools safely.
  • Basic carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling and other general building tasks where experienced.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
  • Working on domestic and commercial properties.
  • Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.

Excellent customer care skills are essential, along with a neat and tidy approach to work.

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • Must supply own tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and professional attitude

Company vehicle provided.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.Successful applicants must apply for and pass a basic DBS check prior to employment. The cost of the DBS check will be refunded by the employer once received.
