Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Field-based / Mobile across service areas

Role Overview Response Heating and Cooling is seeking a dependable, practical, and proactive Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, no two days are the same. We need a capable all-rounder with a diverse background in general property upkeep—specifically across fundamental plumbing, bathroom works, tiling, plastering etc a good "all-rounder".

You are someone who takes pride in high-standard finishes, works confidently on your own initiative, and uses sound judgement to solve problems on-site without needing step-by-step instruction. As our business expands, we will actively support you in broadening your trade knowledge across our wider heating, ventilation, and cooling service envelope.

Key Responsibilities Plumbing & Wet Trades: Complete fundamental plumbing repairs and replacements, including, getting pipes in place ready for new system installations, fixing leaks, replacing taps, fitting sanitaryware, and installing basic pipework.

Bathroom & Surface Works: Undertake bathroom repairs, partial refurbishments, re-grouting, precision silicone sealing, and wall/floor tiling to a clean, professional standard.

General Fabric Maintenance: Carry out general day-to-day property repairs, minor carpentry, patch plastering, and cosmetic remedial tasks.

On-Site Problem Solving: Assess maintenance requests on-site, evaluate causes, and make sensible, informed repair decisions efficiently.

Customer Care: Act as a professional face of Response Heating and Cooling, communicating clearly and respectfully with homeowners, tenants, and commercial clients.

Upskilling & Development: Undertake training to learn more about alternatives environmental systems as our service catalogue develops over the coming year.

Job Reporting: Maintain accurate digital logs of completed work, parts used, and time spent, keeping the management team informed of potential follow-up requirements.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
