Full job description

Join our property maintenance team and help keep social housing homes safe, comfortable and well maintained.

  • Location: Croydon.
  • Salary: £22 per hour plus van and fuel.
  • Contract: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Social Housing Plasterer to join our property maintenance team, carrying out plastering repairs and refurbishment works within occupied and vacant social housing properties.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out plastering repairs, patching and skimming.
  • Repair damaged walls and ceilings.
  • Complete full-room and general plastering works.
  • Prepare surfaces for decorating.
  • Work within occupied social housing properties, maintaining a professional and respectful approach towards tenants.
  • Complete work to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Report any additional repairs or maintenance issues identified.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a plasterer.
  • NVQ Level 2.
  • Experience working within social housing or domestic property maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Own tools and relevant qualifications preferred.
