Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drywall Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills to bring architectural visions to life with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and schematics
  • Finish drywall joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless surface
  • Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards
  • Operate hand tools such as saws, drills, screw guns, and trowels efficiently and safely
  • Use power tools including sanders, cutters, and drills to expedite installation processes
  • Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure proper integration of systems within walls
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal on-site

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, or related construction roles
  • Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, plastering, welding, fabrication, and construction painting is a plus
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for drywall work
  • Ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
  • Additional experience in carpentry or masonry enhances versatility on the job site
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
