Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in masonry and related trades to contribute to a variety of building projects, from residential to commercial developments. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents
• Mix plaster and other materials to the correct consistency using hand tools and power tools
• Apply plaster smoothly and evenly onto walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels and hawks
• Ensure all finishes meet specified standards for quality and durability
• Assist with bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, or welding tasks as needed on site
• Operate relevant machinery and tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the safe storage of tools and materials
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes

Requirements

• Proven experience in plastering, masonry, or related trades such as bricklaying or carpentry
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for plastering and masonry work
• Knowledge of roofing techniques and welding is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary
• Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory
