Full job description

Connect2Dudley is recruiting an experienced Plasterer who is also capable of undertaking second fix carpentry works across council-owned and managed properties.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out plastering repairs to walls and ceilings.
  • Prepare surfaces, fill cracks and apply plaster and skim finishes.
  • Undertake patch plastering and general making-good works.
  • Fit and replace skirting boards and architraves.
  • Measure, cut and install timber components accurately.
  • Complete general second fix carpentry and finishing works.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work professionally within occupied council properties.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven plastering experience.
  • Competent in second fix carpentry.
  • Experience fitting skirting boards and architraves.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality workmanship.

Succesfull candidate will be a subject to a BASIC DBS check.

Pay: From £21.65 per hour

Expected hours: 37.0 per week

Work Location: In person
