Job Overview

As a Plasterer, you will prepare surfaces and apply plaster to create smooth, durable finishes across building projects. You’ll work with care, follow project requirements and use suitable tools and materials to complete each task safely and neatly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare walls and ceilings by cleaning surfaces, removing loose material and applying suitable backing or bonding products.
  • Mix and apply plaster, then level and finish surfaces to the required standard.
  • Select and maintain hand tools and power tools, keeping your work area tidy and materials organised.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and related trades, including bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing and welding teams, where project work calls for it.
  • Your impact: well-finished surfaces help other trades complete their work smoothly and give customers a clean, ready-to-use space.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to prepare surfaces, mix and apply plaster, use hand tools and power tools, and work accurately with materials. Preferred: Experience in plastering or related building trades, with useful skills in bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing or welding.

Pay: £200.00-£300.00 per day
