BEAUTY THERAPIST / ADVANCED BEAUTY SPECIALISTHair Art by Andrea | Basingstoke

Employed Position | Minimum 2–3 Days Per Week | £13.50–£15.50 Per Hour Dependent On Experience | Training & Development Opportunities

Hair Art by Andrea is a luxury hair and beauty salon in Basingstoke, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and talented Beauty Therapist / Advanced Beauty Specialist to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build their career within a professional, luxury salon environment and play an important role in developing our beauty department.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty, takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional client experience.

SALARY & HOURS

£13.50–£15.50 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and treatment expertise.

We are particularly interested in candidates who want to grow with the salon rather than simply provide treatments on a casual basis.

TREATMENTS

We are looking for a therapist with experience in a range of professional beauty treatments.

Treatments may include:

  • Facials
  • Advanced facial treatments
  • Skin consultations and treatment recommendations
  • Swedish Massage
  • Indian Head Massage
  • Other massage therapies within your qualifications
  • Lash Lifts
  • Korean Lash Lift
  • Eyelash treatments
  • Eyebrow shaping and treatments
  • Waxing
  • Manicures
  • Pedicures
  • Professional Make-Up
  • Occasion Make-Up
  • Bridal Make-Up
  • Prom & Event Make-Up
  • Semi-Permanent Make-Up
  • Brows and other PMU treatments within your qualifications
  • Advanced beauty treatments
  • Injectable treatments, where appropriately qualified
  • Other specialist treatments within recognised qualifications and training

You do not need to offer every treatment listed. We are interested in the skills and experience you can bring to the role and the areas you would like to develop.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

At Hair Art by Andrea, we want to invest in the right person.

Depending on your existing qualifications, experience and interests, there may be opportunities to undertake additional training in new and specialist treatments.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Fully qualified in the treatments they wish to perform
  • Experienced within a professional salon or beauty environment
  • Friendly, approachable and confident with clients
  • Professional, reliable and well presented
  • Passionate about delivering excellent client care
  • Confident recommending appropriate treatments and homecare
  • Comfortable working as part of a small professional team
  • Motivated to help grow and develop the beauty department
  • Keen to learn and undertake further training
  • Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and professionalism

Specialist experience in areas such as advanced facials, massage, lash and brow treatments, PMU, professional make-up, bridal make-up or injectables would be advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS & INSURANCE

Hair Art by Andrea Ltd holds comprehensive salon insurance covering our beauty treatment services, including advanced beauty treatments and injectables.

Applicants must hold appropriate, recognised qualifications for the treatments they wish to perform.

All relevant qualifications, certificates and treatment-specific training will be checked as part of our recruitment process.

Treatments may only be performed once the appropriate qualification, training and competency requirements have been confirmed.
