Nursery Practitioner – 1pm to 6pm

Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abington Park, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery
Our beautifully renovated townhouse welcomes families with a bright, inviting staircase leading to the heart of the nursery. Spread across two floors, our nursery features six bright, calm rooms and spacious gardens, creating the perfect indoor and outdoor environment for your child to grow and flourish every day.

Conveniently located in the heart of Abington, just off the A45, our nursery is easily accessible for local families and only a 15-minute drive from the M1. Situated opposite Abington Park, we regularly make the most of this beautiful natural space for outdoor learning experiences. With main bus routes and good train links nearby, getting to us is simple.
What will you be doing
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Prepare and support children’s activities
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment
  • Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
