Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across residential and commercial settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilise a broad range of technical skills, and contribute to ensuring safe and efficient heating solutions. Applicants must be committed to safety standards and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Duties

  • Install, service, and repair & heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating,
  • Carrying out general plumbing repairs with domestic and commercial settings
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with heating equipment using specialised tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment to complete installation and repair work accurately.
  • Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of equipment and materials to various sites.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all operations to minimise risks.

Skills

  • Proven experience within plumbing & heating sector
  • Must have commercial and domestic GasSafe certification
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems and related infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and system specifications.
  • Capable of heavy lifting safely and efficiently handling large or bulky components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
