Maintenance Engineer – Domestic Properties

Location: Falkirk

Salary: £39,000 – £45,000 (potential on target earnings) + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Are you a skilled, hands-on engineer with a strong background in plumbing, electrical and heating systems? Do you take pride in leading by example, solving complex problems, and supporting others to deliver first-class service?

About the Role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to take a key role within our growing team.

This is a practical, on-the-tools position where you’ll oversee maintenance, installations, and repairs across domestic properties, potential to progress to Lead Maintenance Engineer.

Undertaking fault-finding and complex issues, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day maintenance and service activities.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across plumbing, electrical and heating systems.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade systems and associated equipment.
  • Remedial/ maintenance work.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Liaise directly with customers to deliver excellent service and clear communication.
  • Ensuring timelines are followed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in both electrical and plumbing/heating disciplines.
  • Recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2391-52 Test & Inspection certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A proactive, safety-conscious approach with excellent attention to detail.
