Full job description

Contract: Permanent - 37 hours per week

Salary: £33,673 - £37,563 per annum

Leave: 25 days per year

Are you a skilled Plumber who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service?

At Homes in Somerset, we're looking for a committed and experienced Plumber to join our Property Services team. You'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving our customers' homes, carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and bathroom upgrades across our housing stock.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance works
  • Diagnosing faults and finding effective solutions first time
  • Installing and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings
  • Delivering excellent customer service in tenants' homes
  • Working safely and ensuring all work meets required standards and regulations
  • Supporting the wider repairs and maintenance team when needed

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience within domestic repairs and maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
