Job Title: Field Pipework Engineer
Locations: Nationwide, UK

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Field Pipework Engineer with a strong background in complex pipework systems and plant room installations to join our dynamic team.
About the Role: Are you an experienced engineer with expertise in water treatment systems and advanced pipework? We are looking for a Field Pipework Engineer who thrives in diverse environments and is eager to apply their technical skills across multiple projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge water treatment installations, providing solutions that make a tangible difference in the sectors we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and repair pipework systems, including MDPE (with a focus on 4-inch pipes) and PVC materials.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot water treatment systems and related infrastructure.
- Collaborate effectively within teams to deliver high-quality installations across various environments.
- Install and maintain IWS chemical dosing systems.constructionplacements.com
- Install, maintain, and service monitoring systems.
- Conduct water sampling and testing on-site, taking appropriate actions based on results.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members on-site.
- Conduct detailed system testing and verification to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all installations and upgrades.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in water treatment technologies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: At least 3 years in field engineering with a focus on complex pipework systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in installing and maintaining complex pipework systems, including 4-inch MDPE pipes.
- Understanding of pressure vessels and compliance with the Pressure Systems.
- Experience with large and small pumping systems used in wastewater, irrigation/agricultural sites.
- Familiarity with plant room installations and maintenance.
- Team Player: Excels in a team environment, contributing to and learning from group successes.
- Adaptability: Enthusiastic about frequent travel around the UK and the opportunity to work in various settings.
- Credentials: Must hold a full UK Driving License and be knowledgeable about health and safety practices. Experience in industrial and/or agricultural plumbing is essential.
- Customer Facing: Must be adept at dealing and communicating with customers.
