Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Plumbers / Pipefitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, have over 10 years experience and the knowledge to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair tasks effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Applicants must be committed to delivering excellent workmanship and adhering to health and safety regulations. Covering areas North Sussex, Essex, Kent, NW5. Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Collate work time sheets. Arrive on time to appointments and jobs.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other specialised instruments to complete tasks efficiently
  • Assemble pipework, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications
  • Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
  • Troubleshoot problems within plumbing systems
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use

Skills

  • Ability to track and trace leaks
  • Good installation and repair knowledge
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in installation and maintenance tasks
  • Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting purposes
  • Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems
  • Well spoken English and written.
  • Level 3 / 2 NVQ in plumbing
