We are NICEIC, Oftec, Chas and Gas Safe approved contractors.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a long serving, successful family run domestic and commercial plumbing, heating and electrical company to join our team.

Heron Contracting have proudly been serving Yorkshire and the surrounding areas for over 40 years within the Plumbing, Heating and Electrical sector. We have built a strong reputation for being professional, and always working to a high standard.

We provide a range of services ranging from domestic homes to commercial premises offering great variety in the work we do.

We require a time served Gas Plumbing & Heating Engineer who can either work alone or within a team. Also have the ability to confidently first fix and second fix bathrooms.

Training will be available in LPG, OFTEC, Commercial Gas

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

- A full, clean U.K. Driving License.

- ACS – CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CPA1

- G3 Qualified

- CONGLP1 would be an advantage (but not essential)

- OFT101, 105E & 600A qualifications would be an advantage (but not essential)

- Live within 20-mile radius of Brompton on Swale

- Excellent customer service skills. We pride ourselves on perfect customer service and treat every job as if it was in our own home. The right candidate must have an excellent work ethic & customer service skills.

- Able to work as part of a small team or alone

- Punctual

- Hard working

- Courteous

- Organised

- Good people skills; a polite manner, honesty & integrity are essential

- A proactive approach with the ability to problem solve and communicate effectively

- Experience in boiler installations, fault finding & diagnostics, repairs & servicing

- Experience in vented & unvented hot water cylinder installations.

- A strong background of plumbing & heating maintenance.
