Plumbing Engineer

Job Overview

We're looking for a reliable and skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced plumber who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.

The role is primarily focused on general plumbing, although experience or knowledge of drainage systems would be a distinct advantage. You'll work across a variety of domestic and commercial properties throughout London and the South East, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and installations to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults with pipes, fixtures, fittings, and water systems.
  • Identify plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Assist with drainage inspections and help identify drainage-related faults where required.
  • Resolve minor drainage blockages and support drainage engineers when necessary.
  • Provide professional advice and excellent customer service to clients.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
  • Accurately complete job reports and required paperwork.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer or Plumber.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
  • Drainage experience or knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout London and the South East.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • On-call rota: One week in every four
  • Monday to Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm (or until all emergency work is completed)
  • Weekend emergency call-outs on Saturday and Sunday as part of the on-call rota.
