Full job description

Dublin, Ireland - Experienced domestic maintenance plumbers wanted for high-earning subcontractor work in Ireland.

We are a well-established plumbing and heating company based in Dublin, working across Dublin, Meath, Louth and Kildare. We are looking for UK-based plumbers who want to work in Ireland on a rota without fully relocating.

What’s on offer

  • £1,500–£4,000 per week gross earning potential
  • Many experienced plumbers target around £2,400 per week
  • 50/50 labour split on completed labour works
  • Weekly payments, with two weeks held in hand
  • Flexible rota options, such as 5 or 10 days in Ireland, followed by time back home
  • Affordable accommodation available
  • Accommodation can be deducted from agreed payments or paid separately after payment is made
  • Vehicle hire available if you do not want to bring your own van
  • Help getting set up in Ireland, including PPS number, Revenue/RCT guidance and general onboarding

The work

You will be carrying out domestic and residential maintenance plumbing, including leaks, taps, toilets, showers, waste pipes, cylinders, pumps, valves, heating-related plumbing repairs, fault finding and emergency call-outs.

This is not site work. We need plumbers who are confident working in customers’ homes, completing jobs properly and dealing professionally with customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ domestic plumbing/heating maintenance experience
  • Full UK or Irish driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 Plumbing/Heating or equivalent preferred
  • Own tools preferred
  • Good customer service skills
  • Able to work in Ireland on a rotational basis
  • Must be able to provide evidence of right to work in Ireland

Gas qualifications are an advantage, but any gas work in Ireland must meet Irish registration requirements.

How to apply

Apply with your CV.

If you do not have a CV, send a detailed written summary of what you have been doing for the last 5 years. This must include the type of plumbing work you have been doing, whether it was domestic maintenance, emergency call-outs, heating repairs, site work or other work, and whether you are currently self-employed, employed by a company, or between roles.

Please do not just write “I have been doing plumbing”. We need a proper rundown of your experience, the type of jobs you complete, how you work, and what level of responsibility you have had.

Suitable plumbers will be contacted for a short phone or WhatsApp call to discuss earnings, rota, accommodation, vehicle options and getting set up in Ireland.
