We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with experience who can take responsibility for day-to-day maintenance tasks and, on certain days, act as the lead for reactive maintenance issues across the hotel.

Why this role is great

  • Varied, hands-on work – no two days are the same
  • Opportunity to take responsibility and lead on key tasks
  • Chance to support and guide other team members
  • Friendly and supportive working environment
  • Development opportunities within the business

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out day-to-day and emergency maintenance across the hotel, grounds, and leisure facilities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for reactive maintenance issues on designated days
  • Prioritising and responding to urgent maintenance needs across the site
  • Completing and recording daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks
  • Supporting and guiding team members or trainees where required
  • General repairs, painting and decorating
  • Basic plumbing and upkeep of equipment and facilities
  • Maintaining pool and leisure areas, including water quality checks
  • Some gardening duties including lawn mowing and upkeep of outdoor areas
  • Assisting with moving furniture and setting up areas as required
  • Managing routine compliance checks (e.g. Legionella, flood boards)
  • Keeping public areas clean, safe, and presentable
  • Reporting issues and updates to management

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in maintenance, plumbing, gardening, or a relevant trade
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take initiative
  • Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for the site when required
  • Ability to support and guide others
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • Physically capable role (lifting and moving items as required)
  • Flexible and team-focused

Working hours

  • Shifts between 7:00am – 3:30pm & 10:00am – 6:30pm
  • Weekends on a rotational basis
  • 40 hours a week – Full-time role

Benefits

  • Competitive pay (depending on experience)
  • Monthly share of gratuities

- Use of leisure facilities - pool, gym, sauna, steam (off peak)

  • Subsidised staff meals on duty
  • Family discounts on meals and stays (off-peak)
  • Health and wellbeing support

Join our team

A great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is ready to take on additional responsibility, while still being part of a supportive team.
