Are you an experienced gas engineer with basic plumbing experience and a a passion for high-quality work and great customer service? Caldor Limited is looking for a skilled Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer with plumbing experience to support our growing portfolio of domestic properties managed by Property Management Companies across the uk

This is a mobile role focused on delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused gas services in tenanted homes and residential blocks.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Carrying out planned gas servicing and reactive breakdown repairs in line with current gas safety regulations. Basic plumbing jobs eg changing taps or sink waste.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults on domestic heating systems, boilers, controls, and associated plumbing
  • Responding to urgent call-outs, ensuring prompt and professional resolutions for tenants
  • Recording all work accurately via PDA to maintain compliance and transparency
  • Completing all tasks in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and operational procedures
  • Supporting additional maintenance tasks within your remit
  • Delivering excellent customer service and working sensitively in tenants’ homes.
  • What We’re Looking For:Essential:
  • ACS Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
  • Experience in domestic gas servicing and breakdowns
  • Strong understanding of gas regulations and Health & Safety best practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritise tasks
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Additional certifications: Unvented Hot Water Systems , air source heat pumps
  • Experience working with letting agents or property management companies
  • Basic electrical or control system knowledge
  • Ashp knowledge
